Enroll Today

A clear, relational training for therapists who want more confidence and steadiness in couples work.

Imago Clinical Training is designed for clinicians who want a reliable framework for working with couples — especially when sessions feel intense, polarized, or stuck. Rather than relying on intuition alone, you’ll learn a structured, relational approach that helps couples slow down, feel safer, and reconnect.

Therapists who integrate the Imago model often find greater clarity, confidence, and satisfaction in their work — supported by a process they can return to, even in challenging moments.

What Imago Clinical Training Will Help You Do

In this training, you will learn how to:

      • Understand why couples choose each other — and why conflict isn’t a sign of failure, but a predictable part of growth
      • Identify the core patterns that fuel disconnection (and what keeps those patterns stuck)
      • Teach and guide the Imago Dialogue so partners can communicate with more safety, clarity, and respect
      • Reduce blame, criticism, and shame — and increase curiosity, empathy, and repair
      • Help couples shift from “me vs. you” to “we’re in this together”
      • Strengthen your clinical confidence with a step-by-step structure you can return to, even in high-conflict sessions
      • Deepen your own self-awareness as a relational clinician — how you show up, track process, and create safety

What you’ll walk away with

You’ll leave with a clear clinical map, concrete language you can use immediately, and a structured process that helps couples feel safer — and helps you feel more grounded and effective as their therapist.

Community matters

Imago training is also a professional home. When you complete the program, you’ll join a community of clinicians committed to strengthening relationships through dialogue, differentiation, and repair — with ongoing resources and support along the way.

Learning and integrating the Imago model can make couples work more steady, meaningful, and sustainable — for you and for the couples you serve.
